Our Process

Your wedding florals should be unique to who you are and help to tell your story on your wedding day. At Laurel and Sage, we create one-of-a-kind floral collections for our brides that are the perfect marriage of our design style and your floral taste. If you’re a bride looking for colorful, seasonally-styled, lush florals in inventive designs, we’d love to create something just for you!

Each floral arrangement is designed
to reflect your story and enhance your venue
with the color and beauty of the season.

All of our designs are custom-created for each bride, which means that the investment for your flowers will vary based on flower preferences and needs. Because of this, I like to meet with each bride to gather a picture of exactly what you’re wanting!

Laurel and Sage offers 2 options for your wedding florals- Full Service and A La Carte.

Full Service includes full floral design and styling with setup, install, breakdown, and the full L&S team. This option works best with a floral budget of $3,500 or more.

Our A La Carte option is a more simplified experience. Rather than the on-site installation, breakdown team, and elaborate floral pieces, it allows you to pick and choose from a menu of floral items to pick up from our studio for your day. This option works with almost any floral budget and usually starts around $1,000.


Step 1:

First, fill out some information about your wedding under the Check Your Date tab, and I will get back with you ASAP!

In the meantime, go check out our Pinterest board for lots of floral inspiration as you begin planning! You can find ideas based on color palette, season, bridal style, and lots more!

Step 2:

If you know you’d like the Full-Service experience, we will set up a consultation over coffee or lunch together (or by Zoom for Covid safety!) I’ll ask you a few questions about how many flowers you’ll need, and we’ll discuss the feel and colors for your wedding. Then, I’ll use your ideas and photos as a starting point to create your custom floral collection. Ideally, we hit it off and decide we’re a good match!

If A La Carte is best for you, I’ll email you all the details in a handy form, and you’ll tell me how many of each item you’d like along with a few of your personal wedding details.

If you’re not quite sure which option is best for you, we’ll figure it out together!

Step 3:

Next, I put together a Floral Proposal for you to make sure we’re on the same page in terms of style and budget before signing a contract. This takes the pressure off of you in the creative process- you can trust as your florist that I’ve got all the creating and tough thinking figured out for you!

Step 4:

Finally, if you love what you see and think we’re a great fit, I ask that you move forward with a contract and a non-refundable retainer within 2 weeks to secure your wedding date. After that, I am officially your wedding florist! Time to celebrate!!
